Add the data of several histograms

Hello rooters,

I am beginners in root, after some research I do not found an answer to my question: is it possible to add data from multiple histograms on one histogram?
For reasons of data size, I have several root files on the same experiment. Is it possible to create a histogram combining all these data?
Note that I’m not trying to superimpose the histograms but I want to add the values​​.

Both the user guide and the reference manual answer your question, you can use THX::Add (root.cern.ch/root/html/TH1.html#TH1:Add@1).
