Accessing ROOT via ODBC

Hi All,
I know ROOT has facilities to get data from other relation databases such as SQL, Oracle etc.

     But is there a way to access/query a ROOT file via ODBC from another tool/database? So basically, is there an ODBC driver for accessing a ROOT file itself?

Hi Arun,

Not that I know of. The closest I remember is a tool to use ROOT files as a backend engine for MySQL. However this would be an interesting tool and if you happen to find it and/or develop it, we would be happy to help/incorporate it.
