4.00.08 versus 4.00.08f

Hi,

A couple months ago we grabbed the source and compiled ROOT v4.00.08. I now see 4.00.08f is available. While I am inclined to grab this updated version - I am wondering if I can find out what fixes were applied from the original production release of 4.00.08 to this new version f?

Hi Heather,
afaik 4.00.08f was introduced for
back-fix of the problem running ROOT under
GNOME with sawfish winows manager:
root.cern.ch/root/roottalk/roottalk04/2500.html
I suppose the only modified file is TGMenu.cxx
