The ROOT team is happy to announce the 2022 ROOT Users Workshop,
where we want to shape the future of ROOT with you. We will
discuss ROOT’s latest developments, how you are using ROOT,
and how you would like ROOT to evolve.
The Workshop will take place online May 9 through 11 with the support
of Fermilab; see: ROOT Workshop (9-12 May 2022): Overview · INDICO-FNAL (Indico) for details.
The topics will cover:
- ROOT roadmap
- RDataFrame support for systematic variation
- Using RDataFrame over many nodes (distRDF)
- RNTuple update and plans, including storing in object store
- New web-based GUI
- Machine learning in and with ROOT, include SOFIE
- Novel user applications
- User feedback
