TF3 "4D" function

Following “TH3 mesh drawing option”:

and “TH3F “4D” histogram”:

and “TH3 & voxels”:

I was wondering if I could get the same type of plot for a TF3 object.
If yes, what is the minimal ROOT version required?

There are different types of plots in these several topics. From different examples shown there, only “glcol” for TH3 option exists now (semi-transparent boxes, pseudo voxels). If you want to use them, you can fill TH3 using your TF3 and use this option.

Is there any “automatic” way to get a TH3D from a TF3 taking into account TF3’s “x/y/z ranges” and “numbers of x/y/z points”?
And what does “now” mean? From which ROOT version (I tend to use v5-28-00-patches)?

No, I do not think so, but this is not too complex task.

For me “now” means trunk, but for you this is not really interesting, since I’ve added this code a year ago and it’s probably in some of releases already. If you want, you can look at ViewVC to check revision history.
