I’m a semi-retired computational math and distributed systems professional. I have been paid to use many tools over the last 40 years but I prefer nowadays to live in modern c++. It’s just a trifle better than g++ in 1993… That’s when I translated the CFD solver kernels of the NAS Parallel Benchmarks to c++.
