X11 forwarding through ssh on lxplus

TEve seems to crash my computer

Hello all, I’m having some strange issues with TEve. When I try to run alice_esd.C under $ROOTSYS/tutorials/eve, my computer closes all programs and logs me off. Due to this, I don’t have an error message available to show. We tried sending the output to a .txt file using >>, but we still couldn’t obtain an error message. I’m currently using Scientific Linux 6.6 and ROOT 5.34 on an hp Pavilion. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide with this issue!
