Is there a location where one can get help / have discussions about GDML? I ask here as there is some support by the ROOT team and the GDML website leaves a bit to be desired. Is it appropriate to have those discussions here even if they are purely about the GDML format?

I think a good starting point for the ROOT geometry package is this very forum. I would like to stress though that during the holiday period several experts are away and the pace at which answers are delivered can be slower than usual.
