Hi,

  • Did you really download this version: root_v5.24.00.win32.vc90.xxx?
  • Can you try the same, but from a command prompt instead of a cygwin shell?

Hi Bertrand,
the name of my installer file is root_v5.24.00.win32 (no vc90 in the name), so I guess this would explain the issue, right?

(And I forgot to mention that the problem is the same from a command prompt.)

I’m downloading the .vc90 release now, I’ll let you know.
