The ROOT team is happy to announce the first patch release of the v6.14 series. Please see https://root.cern/content/release-61402 for how to get it and for the release notes. Enjoy! Cheers, Axel, on behalf of the ROOT team.

For update Root i need to build another time it?

Previously I downloaded the 6.14/00 source as a tarball and compiled it. Now I got the 6.14/02 sources using git pull in an empty directory. Is there a quick way to compile the update without having to recompile everything from scratch?

See the download page; it offers several binary downloads; no need to build yourself in that case.

Please start new threads should you have issues with this release.
