Uhh,hi. I am a total newb in ROOT and a second year physics student from Greece. Our computational physics course requires us to use ROOT. Microsoft though gives us microsoft imagine visual studio 17.
Can i use this with ROOT?

ROOT 6 has a preview version for Windows, which you can install from the download page. @bellenot can probably tell you more about the current limitations with this preview.
If you need to use Windows but not necessarily visual studio, you can also download Docker for Windows and run ROOT in a Linux docker container.
