The ROOT team is proud to announce the release of ROOT 6.04/00 featuring many usability enhancements. Highlights of this release include:

[li] a new TFormula implementation that uses cling[/li]
[li] I/O of C++11 containers[/li]
[li] TTreeCache is now enabled by default to accelerate analyses[/li]
[li] many new beautiful palettes (kBird!) that are optimized against monotonic perceptual ordering[/li][/ul]
